Madagascar have booked a semifinal meeting with Ivory Coast as they continued their impressive form at the CAF Beach Soccer Championship in Seychelles on Thursday.
The Malagasy are now one win away from a place at the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup to be played in Portugal in July.
They finished top of their Group B having made it three wins from three with a resounding 8-2 win over Morocco, a result that left them a full five points ahead of second-placed Senegal.
In Group B hosts Seychelles put up a brave fight but went down 5-2 to Egypt, with both those sides already out of the running for the semifinals.
Nigeria finished top of that pool as they edged Ivory Coast 7-6 after extra-time.
It means the Nigerians will face Senegal in the second semifinal on Saturday. The final will be played on Sunday.
