Seychelles coach Michel Renaud has named his squad for the 2016 COSAFA Under-17 Championships to be played in Mauritius from July 22-31.
The island nation have gone with an older group than most sides, with the majority of their team born in 1999.
Only two players, Juninho Mathiot and Ryan Henriette, were born this century.
They can afford to do this as the country has already been knockout of the qualifiers for the 2017 African Under-17 Championships after a 9-0 aggregate loss to Tanzania, and so are no longer looking ahead to that tournament.
Seychelles start their Group A campaign at the COSAFA Under-17 Championships with a fixture against South Africa in Curepipe on Saturday. That is followed by further games against hosts Mauritius (July 25) and Namibia (July 27).
The top two sides in each pool advance to the semifinals, with the final to be played on July 31.
