COSAFA would like to send our sincere condolences to the family of Township Rollers winger Gofaone Tiro, who collapsed and died after training with his club.

The 26-year-old was a hugely talented player who could feature on either wing, and his loss has been mourned throughout Botswana and the Southern African region.

Tiro, affectionately known as ‘The President’, trained with Rollers on Friday, but collapsed and despite being taken the nearest medical facility, was declared dead on arrival.

His loss has left the Township Rollers family devastated and COSAFA extends our condolences and support to them as well at this difficult time.
