The women’s competition at the African Union Sports Commission (AUSC) Region 5 Youth Games in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe will ignite on Tuesday with a showdown between South Africa and Namibia for the gold medal (kick-off 16h30, Barbourfields Stadium).
The South Africans need just a draw to be sure of first place, while a win for Namibia would leave them level on six points with their opponents, but in front on the head-to-head record between the two.
If Zimbabwe then win the other fixture against Botswana (kick-off 16h30 at Luveve Stadium) there will be three teams on six points and a new mini-table will be drawn up featuring only matches between those three sides.
