Free tickets for TotalEnergies CAF Women’s Champions League | COSAFA Qualifier!

Fans in Durban are in for a treat with tickets for the TotalEnergies CAF Women’s Champions League | COSAFA Qualifier to be made FREE for supporters to take in the action at the Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium.

It will be a chance to see the reigning TotalEnergies CAF Women’s Champions League holders in action when Mamelodi Sundowns also defend their regional crown, but face some tough opposition from determined opponents in the competition that runs from Sunday until August 13.

With the region still celebrating the success of South Africa, Zambia and debutantes Botswana in the recent Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco, all three countries will be represented in Durban.

Both Green Buffaloes of Zambia and Botswana outfit Double Action Ladies made the semifinals last year and will be back for a other tilt at the title.
They are joined in the competition by Eswatini side Young Buffaloes, Costa do Sol from Mozambique and Olympique de Moroni from Comoros.

Fans will be able to get their FREE tickets from three hours before the kick-off of games, on a first come, first served basis. These can be collected from the corner of Krause Road and 29th Avenue outside the Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium in Clermont.

The top club in each of the two pools will contest the final at the COSAFA Women’s Champions League, where the victor will earn a place at the 2022 TotalEnergies CAF Women’s Champions League finals that are scheduled for Morocco later in the year.

The runners-up in the pools will contest for the bronze medal in Durban, which would be some consolation for not reaching the decider.
