Tickets for the 2023 HOLLYWOODBETS COSAFA Cup will once again be FREE, providing fans with the opportunity to watch top-level international football when the competition is staged in Durban from July 5-16.

The tournament has received tremendous support in the last few years when it has been staged in the KwaZulu-Natal province and this year should be no different as fans ready for some excellent football.

With the Premier Soccer League in pre-season and building up to an August start, the COSAFA Cup provides fans with an opportunity to see live football and some of the region’s best players in the flesh.

Three venues will be used this year, with the King Zwelithini Stadium in Umlazi the major stadium to be used as it hosts 14 of the 21 matches, including the two semifinals and final.

But pool stage games will also be held at the Princess Magogo Stadium in KwaMashu and the Chatsworth Stadium.
Most match days will have a double header of games at each venue, with the first set for a 15h00 kick-off and the second to get under way at 18h00.

Hosts South Africa are likely to draw the biggest interest from locals. They start their campaign against Namibia on July 5, before a meeting with Botswana on July 8. Both those games are at the King Zwelithini Stadium.

South Africa then complete their pool play against Eswatini at the Princess Magogo Stadium on July 11.

FREE tickets for the games will be available at the match venues on match day on a first come, first served basis and will be limited in order to ensure the safety of spectators.

Past years have seen excellent crowds in Durban as fans rally behind the regional showpiece tournament which has become a hugely popular fixture on the football calendar.
