The COSAFA family would like to extend our sincere condolences to the loved ones and friends of TS Sporting forward Katlego Mojela, who passed away suddenly.

Mojela had felt dizzy during a training session on Friday, and despite being rushed to hospital, failed to recover.

“We would like extend our sincere condolences to KG’s family, friends and teammates. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family in this difficult time,” TS Sporting said in a statement.

“The details of KG’s funeral are yet to be finalised, TS Sporting is in communication with his family in this regard.”

Mojela was a graduate of the Nedbank Ke Yona Team in 2015, but joined Sporting at the start of the 2019-20 season after being scouted in the third-tier play-offs.

He made 27 appearances in all competitions for Sporting last season, his first in the professional ranks.
