COSAFA Cup 2021: Zambia and Comoros Media Packs

Zambia and Comoros Islands sit at opposite ends of COSAFA Cup history – one a stalwart of the competition with five wins and a giant in the region, and the other a fairly new entrant that has started makes waves in recent editions.

Zambia are the defending champions having lifted the trophy in the last edition of the competition two years ago, while Comoros also had a tournament to remember in Durban as they reached the quarterfinals for the first time.

Both will be fascinating to watch this time round, perhaps especially Comoros after they qualified for a first ever Africa Cup of Nations finals in Cameroon next year.

Ahead of the pair’s 2021 showing at the 20th edition of the COSAFA Cup to be staged in Nelson Mandela Bay from July 7-18, we have put together all the facts and figures on their history in the competition.

Every match, every scorer, winning and losing streaks, and their record against each opponent since the competition was first played in 1997.

We will be releasing media packs for each of the 12 competing sides at this year’s tournament between now and the start of the competition.
