COSAFA would like to extend our sincere congratulations to Football Association of Malawi President Walter Nyamilandu-Manda, who was elected to the CAF Executive Committee on Thursday.
Nyamilandu-Manda won an impressive 35 votes out of 54 votes and will continue to serve Malawi, COSAFA and CAF on a continental stage. He is also a former member of the FIFA Council.
Nyamilandu-Manda was elected at the 45th Ordinary General Assembly of CAF that was held in Abidjan.
Other members of the COSAFA region on the CAF Executive Committee are CAF 5th Vice-President Kanizat Ibrahim from Comoros and Botswana Football Association President Maclean Letshwithi.
