CAF course for women held in Cameroon

A course for CAF Women’s Instructors from around Africa was recently held in Cameroon at the CAF technical Centre in Mbankomo.

The course was conducted by Ehypt’s Mohamed Abdul-Meneim, also known as ‘Shatta’, Dominique Niyonzima from Burundi and South Africa’s Fran Hilton-Smith.

There were 24 participants from English-speaking African countries as well

as the coaches from the eight teams that have qualified for the upcoming CAF

African Women’s Championships in Cameroon.

There will be a course for French-speaking countries staged this week.

All COSAFA nations were present at the English course, with Comoros Islands and Madagascar to attend the French-language training.
