COSAFA side Madagascar won through to the pool phase of the 2019 African Nations Cup qualifiers after a 3-2 defeat of Sao Tome e Principe on Sunday.
The Malagasy claimed their preliminary round tie 4-2 on aggregate after a 1-0 victory away from home earlier in the month.
They now go into Group A of the qualifiers alongside giants Senegal, Equatorial Guinea and Sudan.
Paulin Voavy grabbed a brace for Madagascar in the second leg, with Algeria-based Carolus Andriamahitsinoro getting their third goal.
Ferreria Soares and Adilson Varela scored for Sao Tome e Principe.
Two more COSAFA sides will be in action on Tuesday when Mauritius host Comoros, with the latter holding a 2-0 advantage from the first game last week.
These two are vying for a place in Group B alongside hosts and holders Cameroon, Morocco and Malawi, though the latter have signalled their intention to withdraw from the qualifiers.
