Madagascar coach Franck Rajaonarisamba has named a 23-man squad for the two African Nations Cup qualifiers against the Central African Republic next week but will have to do without two of his foreign-based players.
Both Lalaina Nomenjanahary, from the French second division club Racing Lens, and Abel Anicet, who plays in Bulgaria for Ludogorets, are unavailable. But French-based Faneva Andriatsima is back in the squad.
The Malagasy, who lost over two legs in November to Senegal in the World Cup qualifiers in their last outing, play the Central African Republic at home next Thursday, March 24 and then travel away to Bangui for the next match in Group B on Monday March 28.
The Malagasy have a single point from their opening matches in the qualifying campaign.
