COSAFA teams gear up for CHAN qualifier second legs

There will be 12 COSAFA nations battling it out in the qualifiers for the 2016 African Nations Championship this weekend.

Zambia have it all to do as they seek to overturn a 2-1 deficit against COSAFA Cup champions Namibia when the teams meet in their second leg at home.

Having gained an away goal, a 1-0 success would give them victory in the tie on the away goals rule.

Zimbabwe are in the driving seat in their tie against Comoros and travel to the Indian Ocean island with a 2-0 lead in the tie.

South Africa are similarly well-placed having claimed a 3-0 win in the home leg of their tie against Mauritius.

Bafana Bafana will be favourites to complete the job, but also wary of the potential threat posed by their opponents.

Angola host Swaziland in the second leg of their tie with the battle evenly poised at 2-2 from the first game in Maseru.

Palancas Negras will expect to finish the job at home, but Swaziland have been in excellent form of late and will be full of confidence.

Botswana entertain Lesotho with their tie at 0-0, while Seychelles are up against it as they host Mozambique trailing 5-1 in their tie.
